Over the past couple of weeks we've been preparing **a lot** of new features and updates for our community, and we're finally excited to announce them! The announcement will be kinda big, so prepare to have a good read 👓

## 💥 **New Role Icons & Banner**
---
Since we have reached Level 3 in boosts, we have completely revamped our role icon system, giving each of them their unique icon! Each role - except the notification ones - will give you a little icon next to your name every time you chat :)
With this change of course we *had* to allow our dear boosters to also give custom icons to their roles! So if you want your very own custom role, with a custom name, color, and icon, boost and use the `/boosters role` command!
Other than the role icons, we have also set a brand new server every time you click on our server :) hope you like it.

## 💬 **Level System Changes**

We have completely changed the way our leveling system works.
To begin with, we have changed the formula to calculate the needed exp to level up. We won't reveal it, but it's way easier than the previous :)
We also modified the level needed to reach certain ranks. The changes are as follows;  
    ⤷ **Gold:** ~~20~~ 15  
    ⤷ **Diamond:** ~~50~~ 20  
    ⤷ **Ruby:** ~~70~~ 30  
    ⤷ **Master:** ~~90~~ 50  
    ⤷ **Ultimate:** ~~100~~ 80  
And our most exciting change in my opinion- annual level resets! WAIT, it doesn't mean your levels were *actually* reset. Each year, we will simply create a new leveling track.  You can still check your all-time rank by specifying it in the `/level` command. Must say that ranks will be also reset annually, and they will be given based on each year's level, not the all-time one.

## ⭐ **BytesToBits+**
---
We thought it was about time we give you the opportunity to support us. We plan on making more events and giveaways in the future, with more and exciting rewards. However, to do that, we would need some extra monetary support. That is why we are releasing **BytesToBits+** (or BTB+ for short). It is a subscription based program, that only costs **$3** per month. By subscribing, you will receive the Plus Membership role, putting you higher up on the list, and showing everyone how awesome and cool you are, followed by a shout-out :)
We are currently working on bringing more benefits for the plus supporters, but its main purpose is for an optional monetary support towards the community. All the income from the subscriptions will be returned to the community, 100% of it.

BytesToBits FINALLY has its own mascot! Meet Athena, the new face of the community :)
